MORRISON, Ill. - Services for Theresa Wiersema, 92, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Morrison United Methodist Church. A fam-ily prayer service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at Morrison Chapel of Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wiersema died Tuesday at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison. Theresa Medendorp married Henry Wiersema in 1923 in Crown Point, Ind. He died in 1985. They farmed in Morrison until retiring in 1962. Memorials may be made to the nursing home or Morrison United Methodist Church, Morrison, where she was a member. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy (Mrs. Richard) Digby, Erie; a son, John, Port Charlotte, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Theresa Wiersema, 92, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996, at the home.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Morrison United Methodist Church, Morrison, where she was a member. A family prayer service precedes at 10:45. Burial is in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Morrison. Memorials may be made to the home or United Methodist Church. The former Theresa Medendorp was born Jan. 27, 1904, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Minnie Woltman Medendorp. She married Henry Wiersema Nov. 10, 1923, in Crown Point, Ind. He died Feb. 13, 1985. She and her husband lived in the Chicago area until 1939. They then moved to the Morrison area where they farmed, retiring in 1962. They moved to Florida in 1976 and moved back to Morrison in 1982.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Richard Digby, Erie; a son and daughter-in-law, John R. and Phyllis Wiersema, Port Charlotte, Fla.; grandchildren, Judy, Barbara, Nancy, Jo, Alan, Don, Gayle and Jean; 18 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Daughter of Jan Arends MEDENDORP (see also 2) and Minnie WOLTMAN (see also 3).
