On December 12, 1905 Etta married the less than two years older Peter Barsema in the city of Fulton, Whiteside County, Illinois. He had Dutch parents and was born in Illinois too.

In April 1910 Etta Barsema (23, 4 years married, mother of 2 living children) and her children Marjorie Barsema (3, Illinois) and Milton Barsema (1, Illinois) were living in Ward 3 of the city of Fulton , Whiteside County, Illinois, on the farm of her father John Wiersema (57, immigrated in 1884, 34 yeaes married, own income), mother Katie (54, immigrated in 1884, mother of 13 living children), and brothers Henry (13, Illinois), Bernet (11) and Elmer (7, Illinois). Her husband Peter Barsema (25, Illinois, 5 years married, switchman at a steam railroad company) was then living with his parents Lambert Barsema (55, Holland, milkman), Annie (50, Holland) and three siblings in the village of Maywood, located about 10 miles west of Chicago, Proviso Township, Cook County, Illinois.

On March 12, 1912 her husband Peter Barsema died at the age of 26 years, very probably in Cook County, Illinois.

In January 1920 Heneretta (32), her second husband Diederick Borgman (36, Holland, immigrated in 1889, farmer), her children Marjorie Barsema (13), Milton Barsema (11) and Ester Barsema (8, Illinois), their children Una Borgman (3, Illinois) and Jean Borgman (1, Illinois) were living on their own farm in Garden Plain Township, Whiteside County, Illinois.

In April 1930 Henrietta (42), her husband Diederick Borgman (46, immigrated in 1906 [?!], farmer), their children Una M (13, Illinois), Jean D (11, Illinois) and Louis (9, Illinois), and nephew Francis W Uenhuizen (2, Illinois) were living on their own farm in Garden Plain Township, Whiteside County, Illinois.

In April 1940 Henrietta (52), her husband Dick Borgman (56, farmer), and their son Louis (19, farm laborer) were living on their own farm, worth $4500, in still Garden Plain Township, Whiteside County, Illinois. They lived in 1935 in the same house.

In March 1960 her husband Dick Borgman died at the age of 76 years in the city of Clinton in east Iowa, located opposite the city of Fulton on the other, eastern side of the Mississippi River in northwest Illinois. It's not unlikely that he died there in a hospital. Henrietta died in at the age of 98 years in March 1986 in the village of Albany, located on the eastside of the Missisippi River, a few miles southwest of the city of Fulton, Whiteside County, Illinois. {She is later married at the age of 26 on 08-06-1914 in Fulton, Whiteside County, Illinois, USA.}

In den eersten is te noteren dat w: Jan Claesz naegelaten heeft drie kinderen, namentlijcken Claes Jansz, Aef Jansdr olt in haer 20e jaar ende Jan Jansz, olt in sijn 18e jaer.
