Dick Kraayenbrink of Sioux Center died Tuesday in a local hospital. The young man was born in Barseveld, the Netherlands, October 4, 1906. Surviving are his wife and three small children; his mother Mrs. A. Kraayenbrink; four brothers, Albert of Sioux Center, Henry of Doon, John of Orange City, and Ben of Sioux Center; two sisters Mrs. Kaenjingk of Stinkney, South Dakota, Mrs. J. Hofland of Sanborn.

Funeral services were held Friday at Middleburg and interment was made in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Albert Vande Kamp (nee Ether Wiersema) passed away Sunday morning in Sioux Center at the age of 82 years. On Jan. 6, 1927, in Orange City, IA, she was united in marriage to Dick Kraayenbrink, who preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1937. On June 5, 1970 in Chandler, MN she was united in marriage to Albert Vande Kamp who now survives. The survivors include three children: Asa Kraayenbrink of Hull, IA;Alydia, Mrs Don Wassenar, of Sheldon, IA; and Henrich Kraayenbrink of Sioux Center, IA; 6 step children: Jeanne, Mrs Dorman Koel of Rock Rapids, IA;Mary, Mrs John Davelaar, of Bigelow, MN;Charles Vande Kamp of Hospers, IA;Gary Vande Kamp of Rock Valley, IA;Lyle Vande Kamp of Sioux Center, IA. She is also survived by a brother, Elmer Wiersema, of Orange City; fifty grandchildren; and forty-two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, John, and two daughters in law.
Her lifetime experiences included being a housekeeper of Colenbrander Hall at Northwestern College in Orange City for ten and a half years. She was member of the Bethel Christian Ref Church.

Ethel Vande Kamp, 82, of Sioux Center died Sunday, October 30, in a hospital in Sioux Center.

Services are at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, November 2, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center with the Rev. Duane Tinkenberg officiating. Burial is in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born Ethel Wiersema May 18, 1906, at Sioux Center, she married Dick Kraayenbrink January 6, 1927 in Orange City. He died February 23, 1937. She was a housekeeper for 10 1/2 years at Colenbrander Hall at Northwestern College in Orange City. She married Albert Vande Kamp June 5, 1970, at Chandler, Minnesota.

She was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Asa Kraayenbrink of Hull and Henrich Kraayenbrink of Sioux Center; a daughter, Alydia Wassenaar of Sheldon; four stepsons, Charles Vande Kamp of Hospers, Gary Vande Kamp of Rock Valley, Alwayne Vande Kamp of Richfield, Minnesota, and Lyle Vande Kamp of Sioux Center; two stepdaughters, Jeanne Koel of Rock Rapids and Mary Davelaar of Bigelow, Minnesota; a brother, Elmer Wiersema of Orange City; 50 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.
