In de notulen van de Bestuursvergadering van Zeemanshoop dd 26 november 1874 vraagt kapitein D.Visser om een uitkering welke hem in de vergadering dd 07 januari 1875 wordt toegekend ingaande 01 februari 1875.

In de notulen van de Bestuursvergadering dd 01 maart 1894 staat een verzoek van de wed. D.Visser om de f 100,- te ontvangen zoals ook door haar echtgenoot werd genoten. Het Bestuur stelt dat zij niet in de termen valt en beslist afwijzend.

In de notulen van de Bestuursvergadering dd 01 maart 1900 wordt het overlijden gemeld van de wed. D.Visser.

In de notulen van de Algemene Vergadering van Zeemanshoop dd 19 januari 1875 staat vermeld dat aan kapitein D.Visser per 01 februari 1875 een uitkering in de 1e klasse is toegekend wegens 60 jarigen leeftijd.

In de notulen van de Algemene Vergadering van Zeemanshoop dd 06 april 1893 staat een bericht door C.Th.Visser over het overlijden van zijn vader D.Visser. Hij informeert naar de procedure om een uitkering voor de weduwe te verkrijgen. In de notulen dd 04 mei 1893 wordt aan de weduwe D.Visser een uitkering in de 1e klasse toegekend.

In de notulen dd 07 september 1893 van de Algemene Vergadering staat een verzoek van C.Th. Visser om inlichten omtrent de uitkering aan zijn moeder. Beantwoord door de secretaris.

In de notulen van de Algemene Vergadering van Zeemanshoop dd 10 mei 1894 staat een: Brief van de Weduwe D.Visser, vragende om f 100,- uit het Weldadig Zeemansfonds, zooals die vroeger door haar overleden echtgenoot werd ontvangen. Door de Heeren Secretarissen beantwoord, dat zij daarop geen recht heeft..

Tot 1868 gezagvoerder op Stoomschip Prins van Oranje, wekelijkse dienst op Duinkerken. Klaas Lariby (neef van vrouws zijde) was tot die tijd (1868) stuurman op genoemd stoomschip en werd in dat jaar gezagvoerder toen Douwe Visser zijn dienst neerlegde.
